Equipment Rental Terms

Rental Agreement

When you rent equipment from barbarabbi, you enter into a rental agreement subject to these terms and any additional terms provided at the time of rental.

Equipment Condition

All equipment is provided in good working condition. You are responsible for inspecting the equipment upon receipt and reporting any issues immediately. You must return the equipment in the same condition, accounting for normal wear and tear.

Liability for Damage or Loss

You are responsible for any damage to or loss of rented equipment during the rental period. You agree to pay the replacement cost or repair costs for damaged or lost equipment. We recommend purchasing our optional equipment insurance.

Rental Period and Returns

Equipment must be returned by the agreed-upon date and time. Late returns may incur additional charges. If you need to extend your rental period, contact us before the return date to check availability and arrange an extension.

Filming Services

When you book our filming services:

• You must provide accurate project information and requirements
• You are responsible for obtaining necessary permissions, releases, and permits for filming locations
• You must ensure safe working conditions for our crew
• Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees
• We retain the right to refuse service if working conditions are deemed unsafe

Pricing and Payment

All prices are stated in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. Payment terms will be provided at the time of booking. We accept various payment methods as communicated during the booking process.

Prices are subject to change without notice. The price applicable to your rental or service will be the price confirmed at the time of booking.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation terms vary by service:

• Equipment Rentals: Cancellations made 24 hours or more before pickup incur no charge. Later cancellations may incur a fee.
• Filming Services: Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance receive a full refund. Later cancellations may incur fees up to 50% of the service cost.
• Consultations: Cancellations made 12 hours or more in advance incur no charge.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of barbarabbi or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

For content created during filming services, ownership terms will be specified in the service agreement. Generally, you retain ownership of the final edited content, while we retain the right to use footage for portfolio purposes unless otherwise agreed.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, barbarabbi shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from equipment malfunction, unless caused by our negligence
• Content or quality of projects created using our equipment or services

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant rental or service.

Insurance and Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold barbarabbi harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of rented equipment
• Content created using our services
• Your breach of these Terms of Use
• Your violation of any laws or third-party rights

Modifications to Terms
